Bar

Bar

Best for (10 min from venue): families, easy commute to wedding, budget-friendly.

Closest to the venue. Quieter, mix of old town and working port. Famous for its ancient olive trees.

Not the prettiest coastal town in Montenegro.

Petrovac

Petrovac

Best for (25 min from venue): balance of beach and restaurants without the chaos of Budva.

Small, pretty seaside town with two beaches and a charming promenade.

Limited nightlife if you want to keep partying post-wedding.

Budva

Budva

Best for (40 min from venue): groups who want nightlife and restaurants every night.

The big resort town — beaches, bars, casinos, old town walls. Lively in summer.

Busy, touristy, parking is a nightmare in season.

Sveti Stefan

Sveti Stefan

Best for (30 min from venue): a splurge night, romantic stay, photos.

Iconic island-village postcard view. Boutique hotels on the mainland facing it.

Pricey; the island itself is a private Aman resort.

Kotor

Kotor

Best for (1h 15min from venue): extending your trip a couple of days for sightseeing.

UNESCO old town inside a dramatic fjord-like bay. Stunning.

Too far for a wedding-night drive.

Rent a car

Wherever you stay outside Bar, renting a car is the easiest option. Local transport between coastal towns is limited and timetables don't always work for evening events. €25–40/day from Podgorica or Tivat airport.

We will provide transfers from the airport to your accommodation, to the wedding venue on the 16th, and back to the airport after — but during the day to explore, a car gives you freedom.

For an easy option we recommend Sit N Go, a local agency. Message them on Instagram (@sitngo.me) and mention you were recommended by Marko Vuković from Hotel Palace to get a discount.
